Natashalyn Snipes

Vice President

Natashalyn Snipes is the Exceptional Children and Student Services Director of Weldon City Schools in Weldon, NC and Vice President of the executive board of Mary V. Taylor Foundation (MVTF).  Natashalyn graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC) with a BA in psychology.  She also obtained a two Masters degrees from North Carolina Central University (NCCU) in Special Education with a concentration in Emotional Disabilities and School Administration.  Natashalyn is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in Educational Leadership from UNC.  Natashalyn is passionate about educating and support underrepresented students and especially mentoring future student-athletes.

Growing up in North Carolina both in a rural and urban areas Natashalyn was afforded many opportunities to play sports both amaturely and collegiately.  She participated on various travel teams in Volleyball and Softball. These experiences ultimately lead her to receiving an athletic scholarship in softball to attend UNC.  Natashalyn has vast experiences teaching and mentoring individuals who wish pursue their dreams.  Natashalyn independently volunteers with many to provide softball instruction, academic support and most recently supporting the MVTF.

Natashalyn looks forward to partnering and collaborating with various organizations that will support  MVTF as we continue to develop student-athletes with our Blazing programs.
