The Mary V. Taylor Foundation is a non-profit organization based in Durham, North Carolina developed to provide mentoring, tutoring and other enrichment services to support youth in the surrounding counties (primarily Durham, Wake, Orange, and Chatham) through amateur athletics. Youth participation in sports helps to develop self-esteem, physical conditioning and improve focus in one’s education. Today’s youth face many challenges in society, and it is our goal at the Mary V. Taylor Foundation to provide each child with the support they need to succeed.
We have high expectations for our youth and desire to plan wrap-around services. With this goal in mind, we plan to purchase or construct a building that will support our organization and youth. If we are unable to build a new building, any pre-standing building will need major repairs and renovations to comply with city building codes. Although this is a future goal, we must start planning now. Not only will we welcome financial support but any ideas you might have to make our facility a state of the art facility will be considered.
In today’s tough economy, it makes it difficult for the Mary V. Taylor Foundation to meet the needs without help from people like you. I am asking you to help us establish these programs by giving a tax-deductible donation below.
