Sharon T. Holman, works for Duke Regional Hospital as a Team Leader for the Food and Nutrition Department. She made sure that between 200 and 260 patients were fed the correct diet each day until they were released from the hospital. She transferred from Duke Hospital to Duke Regional Hospital on June 23, 2016 as a Patient Menu Tech, where her journey would then lead her to Team Leader. Sharon’s motto is keeping a positive attitude and a warm smile helps me make it through stressful work situations.

Sharon’s main career was with Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina as a Reimbursement Specialist for the Medicare Program. She performed Medicare desk reviews and settlement functions ensuring providers were properly reimbursed for costs of services rendered to health care beneficiaries in accordance with the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services. Sharon worked for Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina for thirty-six and half years.
